THE HISTORY

Viet Ecotex's creative history spans decades of innovation. The development of this unique material represented a real technological breakthrough, and it is thanks to this that the product has been able to maintain its cutting-edge, unique qualities over time. Vietnam was the location chosen to realize this dream material, which continues to evolve even today, developing new perspectives all the time.

1970

Vietnamese scientists initiate research into advanced eco-friendly textiles, laying the groundwork for Viet Ecotex.

1972

Viet Ecotex is officially established with a vision to revolutionize the material industry from Vietnam. The first production plant is opened in Ho Chi Minh City.

1974

Viet Ecotex debuts in the automotive industry, providing sustainable interior solutions for forward-thinking car manufacturers.

1979

The first phase of testing begins for the use of Viet Ecotex materials in the interior design sector.

1984

Strategic partnerships confirm Viet Ecotex as a preferred material for premium automotive interiors.

1994

The Applications Development Centre is established in Vietnam, dedicated to the in-house development of ad hoc solutions.

2000
